I received my hematological "do-over" yesterday starting at 10 am. Over the next six hours I regained 4 bags of stem cells that I had harvested back in February. Once again my breakfast was a disaster. I ordered some waffles, fruit, and milk and all I got was FRUIT!. Fruit is great, but Watermelon doesn't make much of a meal. I received Ara-C and VP-16 for today's chemo cocktail. It worked out to about 2 hours of goodness but was much easier than yesterdays hour of BCNU. It would appear that I have spent too much time reading the blogs of high schoolers and 40 year old unemployed unmarried men (just kidding, looking at either would be pretty sketchy). I am, in general, not a fan of the voyeurism that blogging breeds, and have found that a lot of the blogs I read to be a bit shallow and narcissistic.
